The College of Physical Education Gharyan organizes a workshop on doping and its harm to athletes

It was held this morning, Wednesday, January 3, 2024 AD. The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Gharyan University held a workshop on doping and its harms to athletes in cooperation with the Third Region of the Libyan Committee to Combat Doping Abuse.

The workshop was attended by the Dean of the College of Physical Education, who opened the workshop with his speech, the Chairman of the Libyan Committee to Combat Doping Abuse, a number of college employees, members of the committee, students of the College of Physical Education, and those interested in this important health issue.

The workshop included the following topics:

. Sports stimulants, their types and harms. Its negative effects.

. Types of stimulants.

. What happens after taking steroids?

. Performance stimulant drugs

. Method for detecting steroids

. Method of analysis in the medical laboratory

. Shows pictures illustrating the method of medical detection of steroids.
